About Frontier Electronics

Frontier Electronics Pty Ltd. is importer and distributor of computer hardware, peripherals and accessories. The company was established in 1996 and is based in Sandton, Gauteng

Frontier Electronics stocks a wide array of items, including motherboards, central processing units, add-on cards, computer cases, modems, monitors, printers - in short, everything that is necessary to assemble a computer, as well as numerous peripherals that go with the computer to make up a home or business work station. 

Frontier Electronics sources most of its products from Taipei, Taiwan. That, together with frequent shipping’s, ensures that Frontier Electronics has the most recent technology in stock.
Frontier Electronics’ technical department is able to solve most of customers’ queries in case of any problems. Frontier’s technicians are also able to assemble computers to our customers' specifications. 

Frontier Electronics also offers quality and affordable home electronics products as well as selected music instruments, which makes this company a veritable entertainment hub.

Specifications of goods shown on this web site may differ from the actual article and are subject to manufacturers’ changes without prior notice. All prices are subject to change without notice. All prices exclude VAT.

Delivery policy
Frontier Electronics delivers its products to registered dealers in Gauteng. The delivery is free of charge if the customer purchases goods over certain amount; otherwise, delivery is subject to a nominal fee. Please contact Frontier Electronics’ sales for current amount.

For distribution nationwide, Frontier relies on the services of a courier company. Customers can either use own courier or Frontier’s; in either instance, the customers are responsible for the full amount of delivery charges. If customers decide to use Frontier’s courier, they will be asked to pay the delivery charges in advance, as per the courier’s quotation.

In case the customer uses Frontier’s courier and has made the payment online by credit card, the customer may be required to present the credit card used in the transaction to the courier upon delivery of the goods.

Refunds and Returns Policy

·         Goods returned for credit must be in their original packing complete with all drivers and manuals. Frontier Electronics reserve the right to refuse credit for any goods returned not complying with these terms.

·         A 15% handling charge will be levied on all goods returned for credit more then 72 hours  after date of purchase, subject to acceptance rules laid out above.

·         No credits will be given on goods returned seven days or more from date of purchase.

·         Goods returned for credit must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice. Goods will not be credited without this.

·         Warranties are null and void on any goods damaged by lightning or power surges.

·         Warranties are null and void on any goods returned with physical damage.

·         No credits will be given on any goods returned with lightning, power surge or physical damage.

·         Unless otherwise indicated, all goods sold by Frontier Electronics come with a one year carry in warranty. 

·         Frontier Electronics do not do on site service.

·         Goods returned as faulty must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice. All goods sold by Frontier Electronics are scanned and Frontier Electronics will not attend to any faulty goods without a copy of the original invoice or where such goods do not show on our scanning system as having been purchased from Frontier Electronics.

·         While every effort will be made to attend to faulty goods as soon as possible, we regret that no faulty goods will be attended to immediately. A minimum turnaround time of 24 hours with a maximum time of 72 hours will be the general rule. Goods which have to be returned to local or overseas suppliers will take between one week and six weeks to repair or replace.

·         A minimum charge, which changes from time to time, will be levied on goods returned as faulty, where the fault is found not to have been caused by a product or assembly supplied by Frontier Electronics or where the fault is caused by software.

·         A manufacturer may change specifications and warranty terms for any products at its own discretion and without prior notice.  Frontier Electronics cannot be held responsible for any loss to any client through a change of warranty terms.

·         Frontier Electronics do not accept bank guaranteed, private or company cheques as payment unless the company has been registered as a dealer with Frontier Electronics and management approval has been obtained for such payment.

·         Frontier Electronics reserves the right to offer limited warranties of less then one year on any or all of its products or components. It is the responsibility of the customer to ascertain the full terms of the warranty of any product they are purchasing prior to acceptance and / or payment of the goods. Copies of all Frontier Electronics terms and conditions of sale, returns and warranties are available on request.

·         Goods remain the property of Frontier Electronics until fully paid for.

·         There will be no refunds on opened software in any circumstances.

·        Any items brought into Frontier Electronics' stock for a client and which are not standard stock items will not under any circumstances be accepted for credit by Frontier Electronics.

·        Items ordered and paid for in full or partially by a customer, as well as items brought in by a customer as faulty, must be collected within three months form the document date (invoice or customers return order). If the items are not collected, they become the property of Frontier Electronics and will be sold to cover the storage costs.

Payment Options

All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR). No goods will be released until payment has been confirmed as being on Frontier’s account.
Customers may currently pay by transferring cash or making electronic (Internet) payments into Frontier Electronics’ bank account. Please contact us for our bank details. Customers are requested to fax payment slip with reference number (if any) and their own details clearly stated to 011-608-1970. 

With the introduction of e-commerce on Frontier Electronics’ web site, customers will be able to pay by Visa and Master cards online, using secure pages (see Security Policy). 

In the meantime, all customers wishing to pay by credit card (Visa or Master only) are required to present the credit card in Frontier’s premises.

Frontier Electronics will not accept bank guaranteed, private or company cheques as payment. 

Booking of goods
Goods may be booked for registered dealers only.
The goods will be kept booked for maximum of seven days since the day of the order.
Goods paid but not collected for will be kept for the maximum of 30 days from the invoice date. After that the goods will be credited and 15 percent withheld for storage expenses.
